Soul Obligations [Poem + Reflection]

I’m leaving.
I don’t need you to understand.
That is not why I am writing this.
I write to you because it helps me understand myself.

I have obligations.
Obligations that you might not understand.
Obligations to myself.
It’s a very personal and intimate affair.
